Default 250r falls on its face at full throttle

My 83 250r Honda atc just looses all power and falls on its face at top end. It does fine in all other throttle ranges and I can ride ok if I keep it at 3/4 throttle. I have rebuilt the carb. , tried the needle setting in all 3 positions and still no change. It even does it at with no load. Im running 32:1premix tried different spark plugs and no success. Any help to point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated, this is an almost year long battle I have been in with this thing!

I am a 250r-aholic !!!! I was having the same trouble with mine....only on top end. And after it got was good and hot it wouldn't kickstart. Let it cool down and it would start. Still top-end would fall off. I spoke with a veteran racer of these atc's and he told to change the pick-up coil, located by the stator. I just knew it was a carb thing, or fuel. I changed the pick-up coil and it flies once again.....32:1 is perfect in my opinion. use 92 or 93 octane though. cheap gas won't work. hope this helps.........
