Default Difference between Trail Boss and Trail blazer

This is probably a dumb question but I've only own a Polaris for a short while. What is the major difference(s), if any, between a Trail boss and a Trail Blazer?

Default Difference between Trail Boss and Trail blazer

The Trail Blazer took the place of the Trail Boss when it went to a 325 four stroke. The Blazer was pretty much unchanged from 99-06, the last year it was a 2 stroke.

03 saw the Boss get a 330 motor.

06 was the last year of the 250 2 stroke Blazer, and now it has the 330 4 stroke.

Difference the two now is the frame, plastic and graphics, from a basic standpoint.

The Blazer has a shorter swing arm and wheelbase, longer travel suspension with stiffer springs, sporty style plastic and seat, etc.
The Boss has a longer swingarm and wheelbase, shorter travel suspension with softer springs, and racks, plus the obvious utility type plastic differences.
They newer ones both use the same drivetrain and engine. The older Blazer used a 250 cc two stroke.

There are several smaller differences but the biggest one is the the frames. Trailbosses are made on heavier Gen. II utility frames and Trailblazers are made on sportier Gen. III frames just like Scramblers.

I still think if they just dropped the Trail Boss line, especially now since the Blazer is so close to it, and just keep the Blazer. But, take off the front struts and go with a double a arm set up, they'd really have a nice little machine.

Not that it's bad now, just would make it even better.

Of course, for a long time I had toyed with the idea of putting the old 325 motor in the wifes Blazer. No royalty checks from Polaris on that, so I won't hold my breath on the a arm idea.

The Boss has been a long time favorite with the first timer, women, kids, and 2WD utuilty crowd and sells many more units than the blazer. The Blazer and Boss overlap in some uses but the Boss appeals to more people. The Boss has the best ride and features and a competitive price in its Utility/sport category, whereas the Blazer sits in a more competitive Sport/utility? category, with not much any better than the competition.
If you remember the 500 2WD Scrambler was a hit and miss as far as sales and was eventually dropped.
They are both good ATV"s and I have a Boss in the garage, and sold a 400 Sport earlier this year, but I don't expect the Boss to be replaced by the Blazer.
