I recently came across an 87 warrior and it runs amazing and has been extremely well maintained. Well i started riding it the way it was made to ridden but a lot of the parts such as bushings and balljoints are original. I upgraded brakes, lines, rims, tires, and headlights this far.

recently the front lower right balljoint popped out. i put it back in bent the femail part to help keep it in and just havent done any hard riding. The oem part is near 100 bucks and can find online for 63 and ebay a set of four for 99. I plan on replacing all four but was wondering if there is an upgraded a-arm or another machines a-arm that would fit prior to getting just the joints. The dealer could not find any interchangeable ball joints so maybe i will just replace the entire front suspension.

I have loved this machine since the first one i owned and am willing to change what can be changed to make it as good as new. I also wanted to know what kind of mods can be done to the engine to help increase power/speed/performance as the 87 doesnt have a kit. Im sure i could bore and polish but wasnt sure if anyone knew of anymore.

Any knowledge one may have of good upgrades (yes suspension is next so if you know interchangeable parts for that it would be appreciated) please let me know and if you know of anyone with parts for sale i may be interested. dont go cheap on replacments cause they break fast. i believe yamaha ball joints are part of the a arm,at least the blaster is.
