Default Balster clutch pushrod adjustment

HELP!!

How does the pushrod in middle of the clutch basket adjusted and does the clutch or plates needs to be installed in any particular way ( I put the same clutch and plate in the order of removal) If anyone can send me the directions for this, i would appreciate it.

there should be a initial rod that goes in first, then a little ball and finally the outer shaft that will have the locking or jam nut on it. The more you want it to grab you have to turn it in or of course if it is grabbing to much and you can't adjust it at the cable end you have to back it out some with a screw driver and tighten the jam nut up. Just know one thing you don't have to move it much to make a big difference. What I do is shut the gas off and put it up on its side, this way you won't have to drain the oil and you will lose very little. The biggest mistake that I have seen is people losing the little ball or forgetting to put it in.
Hope this helps.

Thanks,
I have inserted the rod, ball bearing and the pushrod. The note in the direction was vague, I will just have to do trial and error. What about the clutches and plates. Is there any particular way these need to be inserted? The inner basket and clutch cover have a notch but that is all. can anyone advise?

I don't know that there is a particular way, other than every other one. There should be one thin ring that is wavey and I think that goes in after the first set of disks. The push rod is trail and error, that is why I say don't go to much. Is yours not disengaging of not engaging?

Thanks, I have 2 baskets and they were both assembled differently. You are correct about the wavy ring about going in after the 1st set. Let me assemble this puppy and try it.
