How do you remove seat on Kawasaki Prairie 300

I need to replace the battery on my Kawasaki Prairie 300 but can't figure out how to get the seat off so I can get to the battery. Suggestions please!

How do you remove seat on Kawasaki Prairie 300

There is a little cable with a loop to pull under the rack, beside the rack tube that bends under. I think it is on the left side.
