Default Temperature Barometric Air Pressure Sensor (T-BAP)

All I have an 08-700 X2 and 2 of the wires have brokin at the solder joint inside of the plug for the T-BAP. I was able to remove the ruber O ring and slide it over the wire and push it back in and reseat the O ring to get a conection. I need to make it Perm. Question? have any of you had this yourself and what was the fix...replacement conector or more invalved? The unit is under worinty but I like to have a clue when I take it in. The folks are super at the dealership I use and they will order in advance if I know what is needed and they will fix it as i stand by, as I live 65 miles away and hate to drop it off and then go back to P/U. Any help ....I thank you in advance!!!

most dealers wont give you the part to fix it yourself and or if you work on it while under warranty they dont have to warranty it. ive never had mine do it so i wouldnt know how to secure it w/ out seeing it but make sure you dont alter or change anything where they wouldnt warranty it for you. just a suggestion.

I understand that but we were in Tenn when it went bad and had to fix it to get back to the trail head we were about 20 miles in and it would not run. I just got lucky when the wife seen the broken wire and I pushed it back in and all was good.. I will be taking it to them to have it fix.

Polaris makes a harness kit that you solder in to fix that issue. Makes it real simple to repair.

It's been real busy since I started. Thanks for asking. I sure like it. I had a lot of people follow me which is what I was hoping for. I've had some troubles but nothing big. It's been great.

I still peek in here now and again. I did like helping out when I could. I also learn stuff here too. I think this is a great forum.
