Default 2x4, 4x4, turf mode?

Just curious which "mode" most people ride in. I usually have mine in 4x4 with turf mode off - figuring I will be in 2-wheel drive until the wheels start to slip. My buddy always rides in 2x4 and only puts it into 4x4 if he is going to enter a mud hole.

With regards to turf - I only use this on my lawn then I put the machine in 2x4 and engage turf mode.

Lastly - ADC? anybody ever have the NEED to use this mode? Engine breaking itself is always adequate for the trails I ride - which can get quite steep on descent. Never have tried ADC

in the yard (my yards a 45 degree slope with paved parking on top) i use 4x4adc and 2x4 with turf mode. i leave the turf mode engaged because it drops out of turf mode automatically when switching to 4x4. i havent used it for trails, just yard work and havent even really used anything but low gear, the adc works great when the back is loaded up with alot of weight going down the hill. moved 3.6 ton of coal down to the house last month in the bed. had you figured out which tire to get, thinking more on the lines of tracks now if i can get the money up, maybe next winter ill have them for ice fishing

Haven't figured out what tires to get yet. I figured I would get used to the factory first. Just had to put a new leach field in for my septic system - so no new goodies for a while.

I run mine in 2x4 with turf mode. It has a better turning radius and is easier on all the components. I have itp mudlites so I rarely ever need 4wd even in the mud, etc. I am amazed where it will go in 2wd! My wife uses the adc quite often on steep declines especially as it is easier for her.

run the can-am 400 xt in 2x4 until a mud hole or log big enough to leave me with only the front wheels on the ground for a bit. usually in high gear unless im on a really steep hill.

I haven't really had a chance to use ADC yet. I used to ride in 4x4 a lot but now I leave it in 4x2 most of the time, except when I'm plowing.

we went to an atv park and we were riding with a guy who had a 500touring and with the adc he could get off while going down a big hill and still be in gear, also i was on my brakes all the time and he actually had to give it gas

i thought that was pretty slick
