'06 TRX350 ES Won't go into reverse

I've tried tightening up the reverse cable and cleaning the brake switch but maybe there's an electrical connection I'm missing? Anyone have this problem?

check the reverse motor switch its a single wire that plugs in the motor in the back on the bottom
