head inspected, not yet disassembled.
exhaust lobe---worn beyond belief !!!!
at this point, would it be cost worthy to just
try a rebuild of cam, rocker , and componets
without removeing head completely.
these parts are pretty price'ie

is it common to have just the exhaust lobe grind down and smush flat
on lobe? intake cam and componets are ok.
is there a head rebuild kit avaiable as a all in one kit?

long and short of it, is that this atv just had a complete rebuild done by a
shop, on the jug , piston , ect one year ago, and it has at max maybe 30hrs
of run time on the atv since. it has rested in the barn since we got it back mostly,
awaiting fall to use for hunting.

Well where should you start ,first if I where you I'd go talk to the place that did your rebuild and if you have a good relationship with these folks see if they would make it right with you , chances are they proably won't just cause it's been awhile, that being said you may as well go for new ( used) cam and and parts you need and try to repair it first before you tear it all apart Because your going to need these parts anyway, hopefully you have a good manual to do the job right ( torque specifacations, timing and so forth ) . I just did a top end on my Mojave and I know you can repair yours while the head is on the bike , but again that timing is so critical. One more thing is we should be concerned with ,where the shrapnel from your lobe ended up please take this into cosideration too. there is no rebuild kit per-say that I know of your proably going to have to get in there and make a parts list and order them sepertly , check e-bay I've had good luck there or if you order new try cyclepartsnation.com I've had excelent luck with them. hope this helps you bro and please if you end up doing this yourself be sure to have a manual .
