Getting top speed back on my 600 grizzly
#1
I was out all day with the 2001 Grizzly. I was with a friend who has a 2003 660 Grizzly.
Overall the carb tuneup cleared most of the problems with the idle...although if I sit at idle for a few minutes and then go to give it throttle it loads up...so I seem to have it set rich...but I am not sure how to lean it out....I posted below but...no one seems to know.
However, the one thing I noticed that was significant was a very limited top speed...like maybe 45 TOPS. Plenty of power...not an engine issue.
Seems to be a clutch or transmission issue.\
Seems I read a thread about this. What is the fix for this....I am not familiar with Yamahas belt drive and clutch setup.
I would think I should easily get 50-55 out of it without it revving to the limit...instead of 40.
Can someone send me in a direction to get my top speed back?
