Default 1980's yamaha 3 wheeler

Hi All,

I recently bought a 1980's 3 wheeler. It starts fine with the pull start, but I wanted to try to get the electric start working. I replaced the battery with a brand new one and it will turn over, but it seems like it is not turning it over fast enough to get it to start. I checked to make sure the new battery is fully charged and it is. I bought a regular atv battery. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

try taking the starter apart and cleaning it up, greasing any bearings and lightly oil any bushings.
