Oil coming out of the spark plug hole(Viper90). why???
#2
Is the oil from the injection or is it from the gear case. It would almost appear that you have a seal out. I am definitley not an expert on the internals but it would be my first guess. I know when we had a seal go out on the Blaster, it would run but I can tell you for sure there weren't no bugs behind it.

at last somebody replies,
i believe its from the injection but now that you mention that it could be the gear oil because its a bit thick. what seal could it be? man this bike has been ridin only a few times and sat there the rest of the time and now this. what should be my next step?
thanks for any help.

Like I said I am not an expert, I have all my engine work done for me. I know on the blaster it was the crank seal that was bad and would assume that it would be the same on the Viper. I had mine replaced but raced it for a year and a half, and I am not sure if the cases need to be split or not.

Wow it was a long night, but after trying a few things i got it started. it was smoking really bad but after a while of running it cleaned up. i had forgotten how this thing use to run. it has some pep to it LoL.

Two things could have been going on. If it has sat, you probably had rust in the cylinder. and it took a moment for the rings to seal again. Once the rust wore off, they sealed and the smke cleared. Second, I am not up on the oil injection. Two stroke then eh? I hate that. I always blocked it off and used pre-mix.
