with a lift kit could my 350 rancher pull 27" gorilla silver backs?

Bad idea IMO. My experience has been that huge tires just ruin the Ranchers sweet trail quad handling. If you genuinely need to build a mud monster machine, you need a larger quad to start with........

well i was thinking about buying a 2008 black honda rancher 420 fm would it be a big enough quad to pull them also are they good quads?

it sounds like your looking for something to do serious muddn with. if so your gona put ALOT of money into a rancher to do that, big tires, lift, and engine mods for more power that simply wont be there. If your gona spend that much youd be better off just getting a big bore IMO. then you would beffinatly have the power to work with.
i agree with reconranger, your gona mess up a good trail mechine

I had a 400Rancher, and i didn't have any luck with it at all, and for the 27in. tires, the rancher just simply will be under too much pressure with these tires, it will strain the bearings and the engine terribly, u will not be satisfied.

It would be best to not go any larger than a 25 inch tire for the rancher. You will still have plenty of power, and if you want you can still mudd them. The good thing about the rancher is if you get one stuck they are small and with a little rocking and manuvering you should be able to go through any descent mudholes. Keep in mind that even the biggest atv will get stuck sometimes.
