tr200 rebiuld cylinder sleeve
#2
without knowing the year i don't have that extensive background to know for sure.
but it probably has a sleeve but whether it can be bored or not is a different story...
my RM i had to resleeve b/c the factory sleeve was nickel plated and those you can't bore. and i wanted the ability to bore if need be.
unforsure whether honda followed suit on that one...
a resleeve/bore will be determined on the how everything looks... it there are tons of scratches and the piston is thrashed you will need the resleeve and bore... some will say oh you can just hone it and it will be ok... and it may or may not be reliable.
if everything looks pretty good and everything measures out fine the all you may need to do is throw a new set of rings on there new gaskets and you are good to go.
so you will need to have the cylinder inspected... the manual gives you all of the numbers on what is needed... or you can take it to a show and for little or nothing a shop will give you there opinion.
i went big bore so i was going to resleeve anyways....
