Default Polaris 700 Front Housing - Spring Pin

I'm trying to remove my front housing for repair and ran into a spring pin on the yoke. Any suggestion on how to get this out? I'm considering a drill, make sense?

Also sprayed some penetrating oil on the yoke hoping that will make it easier to remove. Any suggestion?

Too make a long story short I sank my 700 in 8 foot of water about a year ago. Replaced the fluid, etc. and I'm just now finding a few week spots. O'well, that is part of the fun.

If you have a compressor and air hammer, makes its easier.I just use a long ground down bit in my tool and impact out. Can do it manually with a long punch and hammer, plus a little heat helps remove the spring(roll pin)

Thanks, I figured I'd need to drive or drill it out but wasn't 100% sure.

I'm new to the forum and appreciate the feedback. I'll try and do the same when appropriate.

I'm not sure what it's called. I checked the polaris parts on line and they called it a spring pin. It helps hold the yoke on the front housing shaft. It is where I suspected to find an allen or set screw. Sounds as if old polaris tech confirmed my suspecisions. No easy trick.

Thanks for the response.
