Default Drive belt clicking 335 Sportsman

I have a 1999 335 Sportsman, auto trans, 4x4. The drive belt "pulley", not sure what to call it appears to be rubbing against the housing. It does it worse at idle speeds. Any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it?

the early year clutch covers would warp a little and rub. you either can put a newer one on or try to take it off and bend it back into shape a little so it doesnt rub. while you have the cover off, clean the clutches and check the belt and maybe the rest of both clutches for worn out parts. imo.

I meant to say I have put a new plastic cover on. Could the housing I am bolting it to be what is warped or can the clutch be whats warped? I replaced the old plastic cover and it had a little spot worn through on the front of the housing meaning toward the front wheels. Thanks for your info and help.
