Default Brake change on a 98 Sportsman!

In the next few days I am going to do a brake job on my 98 sportsman 500 4x4. I am really new to all this atv stuff, so any info you have that would help me, let me know. Is the job as simple as it looks? Is there any little tricks that I need to know. Thanks for any info you might have!

I just replaced the ones on my 99'. There are two bolts that you have to remove then on the back of the caliper you will need to remove the allen head screw which allows a bracket to compress. There are two post that your brake pads slide onto. You won't be able to get your brakes pads on and off unless you take that screw out of the back. It is really easier then I explained you will see once you have the wheel off.

Good luck!

I just bought a set from those guys and was happy with the pads and service. I just installed them today and worked nicely.
