Will the Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4 do the job?
#1
Just wondering , very new to quads and wondering if this will do the job? I will use it for plowing snow off my driveway, dragging deer, hauling lumber with a cart hooked up to it and maybe dragging logs . And I live where there is plenty of snow. This is a 2000 Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4 with very low miles (225) and he is asking $2,600.00. what do you think? Thanks

The KQ 300 is a working beast. As a work quad, it will do everything on your list and more - it's only limitations as a work vehicle will be traction loss due to weight as you can only pull so much with a 600 pound tow vehicle. IMHO the KQ 300 is the best work quad ever made. $2,600 is a little high for a nine year old machine but then again, you rarely find quads of that age with only 225 miles on them.

Its not like a car. A 2000 ATV with 250 miles is a better deal then a 2007 with 2000 miles at the same price. That ATV will do any job asked of it. Don,t those things have a ultra low range besides a normal low and High range?
Its all about condition not year with used ATVs.

I believe the old King Quads have Hi, Low, and Super Low or something like that. Great machine. I would be a little bit concerned that the carb. will need some cleaning with that few miles over that span of time.

I'd definatly buy that king quad. They are the ultimate work horse. I know guys that have them using them for moose hunting, and they will pull an enormous amount of weight. Diff lock, super low gear....she'll pull your friggin house down lol
