Polaris trailblazer noise when turning??????
#1
I just bought a 98 Polaris Trailblazer and when ever I turn or really get on it I am getting a noise like gears grinding. It also does it when I load it into my truck. I am guessing it is in the gear case. The chain will bounce a little when it does it but it doesn't slip. Also the axle appears to be straight. Not sure if I should attempt to pull the gear case and check it out. Is this a common problem? Anyone with any ideas is appreciated!!!

before u do that, look under ur swingarm and to the left of the bottom of the chain and there will be a piece of metal sticking out right there that is suppose to have a roller or something, if its not there than thats ur prob when ur chain tightens it will rub against that metal making it sound like a tranny or rearend prob.
