Default 98 WARRIOR 350

I have a 98 Warrior 350 and it all of a sudden started stalling out whenever I go down steep hills. It runs fine on flat ground or even going up hills. Just dies going down hill. It starts right back up as soon as I get on level ground again. I think it may be getting too much gas when it is shutting down. Any idea of what it could be? Is there any type of carb adjustment I can make to fix it? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

it just might be that all the fuel in the tank goes to the front of it, and there is no fuel getting threw the petcock. i notice this happens to me when i take my time going down steep hills.

I appreciate the responses, but I really don't think that's it because it still does it even on a full tank and I've already tried messing with the idle screw and it still wants to die. One of my friends said that they thought it might be something to do with the float in the carb. Any ideas on that?

My 98 Warrior was doing the same thing. It did have to do with the Float. All I did to fix it was take to Bowl off and (easy access to float), and adjusted little metal piece to help level out float. It took a couple test runs to get it right, but it was well worth it. Make sure the float it going up and down properly, in the actual bowl piece that the float going down into also make sure its not getting stuck between the 2 alum pieces (in the bowl part). I could be wrong but i've had to deal with the same problem. Take a look at it and let me know what you come up with.

Thanks for the response. I hope to get a chance to work on it this weekend. I'll let you know if it works or not. Thanks again!
