That doesn't sound like a bad price, how many miles? Does it have low gear, thats pretty important for utility and plowing.

Very true, I should have thought that through. Its good to have in some situations, but not necessarily needed.

A 2000 comes with low gear. And $2000 isn't bad. I payed $3300 for mine six years ago. I keep thinking about getting a newer one, but I love this old girl!

Yeah, I found a 2003 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 for $3000. It does not have a hi/low gear for plowing. Though it comes with a brand new 50" Moose blade and the machine is practically new. I just need imput on if a hi/lo gear is neccessary. Also, I would be plowing many driveways with a few inches to three feet of snow. Imput greatly appreciated. Thanks
