I see many posts on here of all the bikes BUT the 500 so I figured I'd set one up. I would like to hear everyone's stories, Good and Bad, about there bikes! So Please post something and let's get the forum rolling!


I have a 2007 Outlander 500XT with Black 12X8 inch ITP SS and 27' Outlaws. The bike has a Moose programmer and a full belt box and air box custom snorkel kit I made after watching the "HOW TO" video on www.mudanddirt.com(great site). I installed a Highlifter roller faring and synthetic rope for the wench and upgrated it to a Warn 3000lb kit. I also installed an EPI clutch kit and upgraded the weights to 36 ounce for better engagement with the over-sized tires! I have ordered and will install a HMF Penland Pro Slip-on exhaust and cant wait to see and feel the difference it makes!!!

I would love to hear anything you can add for me to upgrade and also your mods and thoughts on them! I would also like to hear any horror stories and great times too!!!
