Default 2000 TB not wanting to run right

if i push the throttle in all the way it will fire up and run at just above idle. if i let off of the throttle at all it will die.

if i take the air box lid off while it is running like that, and back off the throttle just a little bit, it will start to run like normal but still will not idle. i have tried adjusting the pilot screw i check the ETC and i cant figure out what is going on here. any ideas?

well after i fixed the exhaust leak tore carb apart and stuck a different pilot jet in (same size just a different one) and put a different brass float lever in put it all together and it runs like it should now.
now i dont have to sit at home tomorrow while my buddies are out riding
