I have seen guys at the races with their seat and rear fenders on some type of hinge so that it just flips up. Has anyone seen or done this? If so, how do you do it??

Thanks

I have only seen one like that and it was on a custom Laegars framed 250R....

I wonder if this is a normal feature on the leagars frames?

I know a bit about the flip back seat. My friend had this on a Laegers framed CR500 he used to own. The rear of the subframe comes up and has hinges on it. IT works real slick and he liked it because of the rear kicking CR500. I believe you can get a Laegers subframe and the seat flip kit from them without the whole aftermarket frame.

You can get the subframes in the standard of flip top. The flip top is not really worth it though, considering there is only one latch to get the rear fenders off. The biggest reason to get one is so that rear kicking engines will not hit the plastic. You have to have an aftermarket frame to have a flip top subframe because there are no kits for stock frames.
