Default 2007 POLARIS 800 X2 OUT OF WARRANTY NO 4WD

Anyone help me here...

Gauges show 4wd and machine is stuck in 2wd

If I reverse pressing the override button then i have 4wd..BUT only in reverse

any grinding while its in reverse? just wondering if its the dredded roller cage?

the reverse override switch could be malfunctioning. check for any codes on the lcd display and see if the atv tells us anything!

Verify you are in fact getting voltage to the AWD coil. If the icon is present you probably are,but check it with a meter. If you are,but it isn't engageing then you have a mechanical issue. Like stendori said,might be a roller cage problem. Check the fluid level as well,the front diff is very picky about having the proper fluid level.

What is the roller cage? And where is the AWD coil?

The 4wd only works in reverse.
