I'm wondering if there are any Atv club's in Iowa because I'm getting tired of riding the same old trails every time. Trying to find new places to ride in North Central Iowa.

 

There is one in the Forest City area but that is the only one i know of. Unfortunatly that is to far for either of us to drive. On top of that they dont have any land that i am aware of. They just do the same as us and travel. Over here in north west corner there are even fewer places to ride. I always go to Minnisota. Sory I was little help but this great state does not give us many legal options.

 

Well there is the Iowa OHV Association try IowaOHV.com

As far as riding areas/parks there is one by Waterloo, one is being built in Council Bluffs, I think there is one around Cedar Rapids,and I live only 10 mi. from Bluff Creek near Oskaloosa which is really nice and Lake Rathbun has one as well.

I don't know of any clubs right off hand but there is a nice xc/mx track just north of Toledo, Iowa. Some of the atvers from around there call it "WADES". It is privately owned and as of last year there is no fee to use it. Several guys from work go to Busey and ride the strip mines, I plan to go there this spring and try it out. I also heard that something was being built in or near Des Moines, I don't know if that is true or not. Hackmazter or Teamtraxx might know.

There is one near you in New Hampton, IA. They are the North Iowa Dirt Riders, I think. Anyway, places to ride in Iowa are 600 acres near Solond, a large ATV ridng area near Bussey, and trails in Waterloo and Cedar Falls.
