Default no power to bike

i was riding on sunday when i turned my quad off to to talk to my buddy and when i turned the key back on there was no power to the quad at all. several minutes later after looking at all the wires i started to push it off the trail and saw the the neutral light was on but very dim. so i rode back to the truck and once i shut it off there was no power again. i know it has to be a wiring or connection but my question is has anyone had this problem and exactly what was it. thanks for your time

wow. never happened to me but it sounds like a loose or corroded connection or a ground issue.

a fuse check sounds like a good idea too. if you get a "dim" light sounds like corosion, if its more than a loose conection

maybe you have a bad connection in the ignaition.
if you have a dead cell in your battery it will go flat instantly after switching it off try connecting it with jump leads with another battery to see if the lights brighten if they dothen you have a battery problem.
if that dosent work take the jump lead that is connected to the earth and connect it to the frame wiggle it back and forward to make a good connection if this works then you know you will have a bad earth somewhere

yea, same problem with 400ex man. check where the negative terminal goes from battery to frame, probably your problem. if its a fuse,it wont run at all, just turn over and over...........
