Default Polaris profits

All -

Has anyone been tracking Polaris ATV division
on their 2008 end of year profits and early 2009?
Are they doing good, bad or mediocre with their
profit margins?

As it is obvious that most of us are BIG fans of
their products I would like to see growth Vs.
cut backs with this ever slowing economy.

Thoughts?

Regards,

R'

Overall their stock is down as the rest of the market is. I suspect this is because people have less expendable money - and an ATV is likely the last thing they would spend money on in this tight economy. Gas prices dropping may help a little.

They have been climbing a bit over the last month.

I agree R - We would rather see growth vs. cut backs. Maybe I'll win the lottery and buy a half a dozen popo's. lol

I'll defer to 5J's on the stock prices but I believe there 3 qQTR 08 earnings were actually up from 3QTR 07..the report is on the Polaris website...
IIRC the only thing down was the Victory line..
If that report is any indication it looks like they are doing pretty good considering..
