Hey guys, i havent ridden my 4 wheeler in about a year.I charged the battery and tried to crank and the starter just clicked.I tried to recoil start it,but the cord will not pull out.Is it possible the starter is engaged in the flywheel??Any ideas? It had a fresh rebuild.Thanks , Kent

 

sounds like your rings have stuck to the cylinder walls. try pouring about a cap full of oil into the spark plug hole let it sit over night then try again.

 

I sprayed PB Blaster in it too and let it sit for a day.What ever it is its locked up tight.I dont want to pull the cord to hard,afraid I'll break it.Thanks for the reply though.

 

Alright ,I got it started yesterday, but in a pull it runs fine and when I let off the throttle the response isnt crisp and it will sputter out.I checked the plug and there is water on it.So, im figuring the head is cracked somewhere but im gonna check to see if there is water in the fuel first.My piston is .020 over , so if I pull the jug, will a standard gasket still work or do I need a .020 over gasket kit.Also ,what should i be mixing my ratio to,im at 32;1 now, should I do 50;1?When I rebuilt it, I put a block off plate on it in case the direct inject failed.
