Anyone know many zerk fittings there are on a 2007 X2 500 (no ADC), I found 9 so far.....is this it? Thanx.

 

The ADC dosen't add or take away any zerk fittings. 9 sounds about right, make sure you get the one on the drive shaft under the motor on the recoil side.

 

Good morning and thanx for the reply Koerbs. This is my first yearly service and I wanted to be sure I tagged the zerk's.

 

Thats a great question. I guess cause I was also curious how many I have (08 700 X2). I've taken my truck in to the dealer which included a quick LOF and they forgot the "L". You could tell the fittings weren't even touched. When I told em about it, I got questioned.

 

where are all of these i have a 06 and could not find 9

 

Mine is a 02' 500, do the newer models still have the zerk on the steering post under the headlight pod?

 

Fireman659.....I looked up the parts diagram for the 2006 X2 500 and no zerk fittings on the A-Arms, on the 2007 X2 500 there are zerk's on the A-arms.....8 total and then one on the drive shaft as Koerbs mentioned. Haven't found any more zerk's.....check out this link and look at the A-Arm/Strut page and diagram part #29....that's where 8 of the zerk's are.
