I have ridden the bike for over an hour then let it just set and run in the shop and the fan has never came on.
I have checked the fuse and it is fine, so am I not getting it hot enough or could the fan be bad? The air temp was about 50 if that makes a differance, but in my shop I had the heat on about 80 and idled for 30 minutes but still no fan.

Can't really tell if it is or not, I did rev it up for about 30 seconds and the exhaust pipe began to glow a little but still no fan.

did the header or muffler glow??? look at your oil, if its turning black very quickly, and smells like ist burnt, then the temp sensor is likely bad. and you are burning the oil

It was the header pipe that glowed. The oil seems clear with no smell so I guess I will wait on warmer weather and see if it comes on then.
Thanks

it will take a few hours for the oil to "burn" and change to black, but if it gets black within 4-5hours of change there is something wrong. the header glowing means you are running lean...not overheating as much. you need to richen you pilot jet...if it constantly gets red-hot you can melt the piston

I have a 2003 trx 350 rancher and even in the summer it takes a long time before the fan will come on..

Mine comes on very rarely, even during hot summer So. Calif. rides. Just wait, it will come on some day...
