hi. i bought a kawasaki mojave off my cuz but while he was riding it through the woods, he lost his keys so now the switch it cut but they forget what wires i have to hook up to get it running. we rebuilt the whole motor n all n now we are trying to get it running but it wont run. could it be cause of sitting so long or what? is anyone elses so hard to kick start? would we have to pull start it on first try? if anyone knows any info on mojaves n can elp me out, please help me. timing is right n everything.

 

try going on cycle works racing forum and ask them. they are pros at the mojaves.

 

hi. ok we got the quad working to where it kick starts n all but now when we push in the throttle, it will bog down n not have the power it should. do they have rev limiters? if so how can i bypass it cause that most likely the problem? idles n all fine just when u push the throttle in, it dont rev like it should. we had a raptor that did same thing n it was the rev limiter on it so does anyone know if there is a rev limiter on the mojaves n is so do u know where at n how to bypass it?

 

make sure the intake is hooked up and the air filter is in place. It will not rev without them. You may also have to clean the main jet in the carb. The rev limiter on the mojave is normally not a problem.

 

we r going to get a rebuild kit for the carburetor tuesday n see if that works. it idles great. in order for it to run right, he blows into the vent hose. once he does that, it will run great until he stops.
