Does anyone know of a hot wire to install a reverse light when my 07 Rincon is shifted into reverse.

 

You will have to run a power wire to the light and tap the ground into the gear position switch wire for reverse. 3 wires coming from the gear position switch are green, light blue with a white stripe and the other wire is light green. The green wire is reverse. Like I said, hook the reverse light ground wire to this green wire

Would the same be true for a 2008 Rubicon?

There is a Green wire on the R terminal on the gear position switch in the wiring diagram.
