Well remeber that my lil 400 was parked running fine then would not restart 3 hrs later.I took it to the local dealer and they tore it down ..OUCH!!!!!The crank snaped,busted the lower eng case,timing chain broke and bent the valves,camshaft broke it sounds like the whole eng just blew up..They said a bolt came loose on the crankshaft and caused all of this damage,,,$3300.00 and completely coverd by my warrenty..LUCKY ME!!! They also said the clutch sheeves were very grooved and need to be replaced, I dont buy that it shifted and drove out fine(clutches not coverd under warrenty). Any input on the clutch sheeves? I am going to go look at it tommorow,I got to see the carnage..They told me it would be about 3 weeks before it would be back together..Wish me luck!!

 

How many miles/hrs on the machine? How many years are the engines covered? or do you have the extended warranty? Not good about the clutches though. Atleast they covered the engine!!!

Ouch... that sucks big time! Good thing you have most of it covered by warranty.

Jezzzzzz... you could buy a new small block Chevy for that price! (just kidding)

 

She only had 2300 miles on and like 300 hrs ,give or take a few..I can say she has been beat hard but NOT when it broke..All it did was try to start it!

 

Look at that HUGE tow hook on the back! What did you used to tow with that?LOL!

 

If you were towing something heavy alot, it would account for the grooves in your clutch.
