Default XP 850 Zerk fittings

Havnt tried yet but some seem hard to get to any pointers, or am I just not as mechanically inclined as most?... Im having trouble getting the grease line deep into the machine with the big grease tube behind it

I put a 90 degree elbow on my grease gun. Makes it easier to line up and will reach farther in.

I just did mine the other day and you have to get some of the front ones from the opposite side. Just turn the wheels to get better access and feel your way around until the grease connector slips on. It's more by feel than anything else. I bought one of those mini grease guns but ended up having to put a different fitting on the end from another grease gun. I ended up riding for two days with the original tip stuck on a grease nipple.
Take care,
Dave

The ones that are tricky for some are the front uppers(inboard obviously)..I just go from the opposite side with the gun and feed the hose over the frame to the fitting, hold the gun with one hand then reach up on the fitting side and grab the hose end and pop it on.
There are 2 more in the rear that are tight with a hose, the rear upper outboards. Anyhow, for those I have a gun with the metal tube on it about 8" long instead of the hose. The tube had a 45* bend in it from the store,I just bent it a little more until it had the angle I needed.
And you clould also pick up some angled Zirks to replace the straight ones and make life easier...I'll likely do that next time I am somewhere that sells them and I think about it.
