honda mechanic 300ex?

Default honda mechanic 300ex?

im rebuilding a 98 300ex and want to know where the honda bond is neccessary..I do have a clymer service manual but it dosn't clarify this.....thanx in advance

i rebuilt my 300ex from the bottom up, i might be able to help you, what do you mean by honda bond?

Default honda mechanic 300ex?

gasket maker /selant......honda bond is the honda brand they use from the factory..for places with out gaskets like the valve cover.....

the only places i put it was the clutch cover, valve cover, and i that is all the places i used it,
p.s, i used normal engine sealent

Default honda mechanic 300ex?

The valve covers have o-ring seals so you shouldn't need anything. Everthing else I'd use regular grease to keep gaskets in place during assembly. I don't care for any type of sealant.
