I recently purchased an '04 ATP 300, and this past fall after changing the oil, I misplaced the owner's manual. I was looking at various things, because the prior owner may not have been so kind to this machine, for the limited amount of use he had.

I checked the rear crankcase (drain plug on tranny hub), and the fluid is low. I've searched many many posts regarding fluids, but I want to be certain of what fluids are listed for this particular machine. I've monkeyed around with motorcycles, and vehicles, but ATV's are new to me. I believe AGL was listed for this machine, can anybody confirm this as fact?

Likewise, I assume the front is low. I see a drain plug in the center of the front axle, at the crankcase, but that's about all I know without the manual and knowledge of ATV's. Is Demand Drive fluid needed for the front drive of an ATP 330?

I'd prefer another alternative for both the front and rear tranny's than Polaris brand. Not because I'm a cheap SOB, but I'd rather purchase better quality fluid that can be found more readily, than dumping the same if not more money into Polaris brand fluids that don't stack up dollar for dollar with non Polaris fluids.
