'94 Sportsman won't stay in HI
#1
It pops out after only going a couple feet, but it always stays in low.
Is this an adjustment or something broken?
I don't use this ATV very much, infact I used it in LOW for the last year.
Thanks

You should be able to adjust the linkage for the hi range. Had to do it on my buddies 94 400 and it's still working fine with no tranny trouble. Just do a little at a time as it will throw the reverse out if you go too far. Good luck and let us know.

If linkage adjustment doesnt help then probably pinned shift forks in trans causing problems. They get slack and can usually get a positive forward or reverse only! 94 model was year affected! Replacement shift forks and shaft milled out of solid bar stock solving this problem. Hope you can adjust linkage! Replaced several kits under warranty, included shift fork and entire gear assy! Not sure if kit available or piece by piece now? Good luck
