Just wondering what things I should avoid doing with my ATV (from other's past experience, or stories passed on) other than what it says on the safety stickers and Owner's Manual?

Has anyone EVER purposely engaged AWD while doing donuts? I doubt it...

 

dont run without a battery!. fries the electrical in a heart beat

 

Keep above water. Engaing 4wd while doing do-nuts will throw you off like riding a bull. Not recomended!

 

I'd be skeered to engage the 4X4 while doing donuts;that would be a great way to get stuffed in the dirt real quick!

 

Don't try to get out of a DEEP mudhole in High gear.........Stop first let the motor idle down then switch to low gear.............Caper...........

 

Sorry that was sarcasm...post was to hear about things people have tried...but would not recommend.

My jealous friends tease me and call my Popo a small jeep...oh well smooth ridin' jeep! They shut up when they need a tow...muah..ha ha ha!

 

4' of powdery snow is too deep to drive through... even down hill
2' deep swamp muck is no biggy though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Do NOT hit a tree going 20 mph with only the front tire... it will seriously bend an a-arm and tie rod...
