Has anyone EVER purposely engaged AWD while doing donuts? I doubt it...

The worst thing you can do to your atv is letting someone else drive it.

Default Worst

Don't trust a bunch of drunk riding buddies on a trail you've never been on. After a hard day of riding(years ago on my 02 700sp) we were heading back and I was sticking behind one buddy who lost a valve stem earlier to make sure he got back OK. The plan was to stop and wash our wheelers off in the river. When we got up to the river I saw a bridge going over it and everyone on the other side cleaning up. My buddy drove down the bank into the river and sat there for a minute. I made the mistake of assuming it wasn't very deep and they all crossed there(only about 25 feet wide). Got sick of waiting so I buzzed around him and proceeded to cross. Saw one of the guys across the river pointing at me screaming holy **** and then I started floating downstream. Turned upstream, gave it he!!, and luckily the 589's I had on it were enough to get back up and across to the other side. They were all going nuts that I did that and my only comment was that I guess in addition to the lift, tires, front/rear cargo boxes, front/rear winches that I would have to put a stinkin trolling motor on it also.

If you are riding with your kids on the back and have to get off the polaris for any reason either put it in park or turn the engine off. Those youngsters will grab a handfull of thumb throttle faster than a cat can lick it's @ss and it won't be pretty.

Don't let either side of your plow catch super hard snow/ice on the edge of your plow path while doing 20mph to keep the load your pushing on the move.
