Default Shifting problems on my 00' Foreman

I was having some problems getting into reverse the other day, and this isn't the first time I have had this problem.

I was wondering if there is something I should check on before I go about replacing the shifting motor. If you guys have any ideas please toss them my way.

Thanx

Don't go changing shifting motors yet, check out all the ESP problems on this forum. Ranchers also have these problems. It could be many things. Do a search on ESP and you should see many threads on this subject. There is a reverse switch and an adjustment I believe also,

There is no problem with the switch, the wheeler tries to change gears but can't get over what ever hump seems to be in the way.
