hey guys, new here, I am wiring in heated grips on my 08 700 SP efi, I want to wire them into my acc plug, can you tell me wich wire is positive on the acc plug? and can I hook the negitive wire from the grips to the ground on the acc plug, or to the frame of the bike, thanks

 

easiest way to tell is get an ohm meter and see which has 12 volts and which is direct to ground.
you can wire the ground to either or. it all goes back to the same place

 

just take the pod apart and follow the wires to the acc. plug and should be the center wire(most likely solid wire maybe w/ a tracer) and the ground wire would be maybe brown or black that would hook to the side of the acc/ plug. just make sure that you dont overload that circuit if you wire it to the warmers and then *** a plug in acces. that takes alot of power. imo.
