Default need more power, dual batteries??

Howdy, Ive been riding for many years now but finally Im interested in doing something the right way, if thats even possible. I have a 2006 650 H1, and Im wondering if anyone has ever run dual batteries on a quad? If so is a battery isolator necessary? And will the existing charging system even begin to charge two batteries? Or is it possible to get a more powerful magneto? Im currently running 2 spot lights and am in the process of adding a stereo box up front and already running in to dead batteries all the time. Thanks

Check out this link:

I had VERY similar issues with mu battery on my 650H1 TRV. THis link has alot of info for ya.

THe end result was the smaller battery being mounted up inder my rear seat ontop of the rear suspention cross arm mount.
I wired it:

BAT #1 +POS to BAT #2 +POS
BAT#2 -NEG to the TRV frame.

That hookup is a PARALLEL setup. THe BAT maintainer/charger is hooked up +POS on Bat#1 and -NEG on Bat#2. That way the charger ONLY sees it as ONE battery.
