I now have a 450es,and I can get about 100-110km on a tank of gas including reserve,on average.I have 27x12x12vampires all around, and do most of my riding in fairly deep mud and water, and riding on railway beds.
My ? is,do do you think i could get as far on a tank of gas on a ruby with the same tires, and driven in the same conditions? The ruby does have a bigger tank doesen't it?

Thanks for all replys!!

I have wondered about this myself. My problem has been that most of the trails I ride are two way trails, that is, they are not loops. The longest ride I have taken was 50 miles. I was pretty sure that I would have been on fumes as I pulled back in, so I let it run for a while to see if I was that close. I never opened up the reserve tank and it never stopped running or even hiccupped. I don't know how far it would have gone on the main tank alone.

Longer than I could have gone, that is for sure!

The mileage was figured out by ATV Magazine in the last issue. It had the best milage (in their test) of 21.54 between all other 500cc's and above.
