Front Diff. Fluid '05 Sortsman 700
#1
First off, I want to say that I'm glad I found this forum. I've looked on several message boards regarding Polaris ATV's, and this is by far the best one. I've been lurking around here for a few months, but now I have a question.
I purchased a new in-the-crate '05 Sportsman 700 last fall. I haven't ridden much over the winter, and I want to change all of the fluids before I get into riding more this spring. I've read some of the horror stories regarding the use of the incorrect fluid for the front differential. I understand that the Demand Drive LT (2876251) is the correct fluid for an ADC equipped diff. Mine does not have ADC...should I use the Demand Drive LT fluid anyways?... or should I use the Demand Drive Hub fluid (2871654) that my owner's and service manuals call for?

If you don't have ADC you will be fine using either fluid I think Polaris might be going to LT and doing away with the other anyways but could be wrong on that . I know my dealer no longer carries the 0w40 oil kits he just has 2x50 .
