wont idle cold

04 sp 500 . hard to start when cold . even when choke is on still have to throttle to keep running . and usually have to crank rope to start . anyone have any ideas. will idle once it warms up

does it run good when its warmed up or still have to use the throttle to keep it going? could be a carb. lack of fuel issue.

just got done ajusting valves . it started cold no choke about the third turn with the starter . again thanks alot
