I want to tone down my 300, damn two stroke blows out my ear drums. Does anyone have an idea or two that could help out with this problem?

on my 94 the springs were all shot on the exhaust... is it leaking or what? my guess is the springs are shot and its really loud around the engine compartment

 

The mounting nuts for the flange just off the motor are loose/missing. I think all of the springs are good, but it wouldn't hurt to take a look.

Is there a way to make the exaust a little quiter without have too much work put into it? Or do I have to concider replacing it and rejeting the carb?

 

i would tighten/replace them nuts..if its loose around the motor thats not good... if you tighten them bolts up and check the rest of the exhaust connections and make sure they are tight.. even a 2 stroke will be quite quiet...
