What oil to use in front hubs

What oil to use in front hubs

I went to my local dealer today to get some oil for my front hubs on my 99 sportsman 500. He gave me polaris transmission oil, I ? him if this is what I needed and he told me yes. Is this correct or can you use something else.

What oil to use in front hubs

You can use either automotive tranny fluid type F or polaris premium LT fluid.
