Default yamaha triz 250

i have a 85 tri-z. runs great low end to mid but cuts out in high rpm range. its not fuel issue. any suggestions thanks.

Yes it is a fuel issue, like Sparky said jetting

most likely it needs a bigger main, but the reeds might be causing this also.

I'm glad to see there are some more 3 wheeler riders here. I have 2 Tri-Z's I'm restoring now.

You say this is not a fuel issue, how did you determine that? The other possibility is your spark gets weak at higher RPM from a bad stator, regulator, or ignition coil, need to test those with a meter. If you need a coil, the Warrior and Blaster coils are the same. The Blaster and Banshee regulators are the same.
