Where to solenoid on 850xp

Default Where to solenoid on 850xp

hey guys, finally got the 850, now i need to know where u are mounting the solenoid on the 850, its a gorilla winch. thanx

It should have wiring stubbed off under the left rear fender. The solenoid mounts to the frame on a bracket.

you got to love those prewired polaris sportsmans for the winch lol. nice and handy.

thanx guys, yes those prewired cables are sweet, u guys splicing to the red/blue stripe wire under the headlight pod.

Go and check the Polaris section on Highlifter.com someone posted a link to the shop manual for 850's. If you can't find it, pm me...

doesnt work, are u guys splicing to the red/blue wire under the headlight pod from your thumb switch????????
